We know choosing your wedding dress can feel exciting, emotional and sometimes a little overwhelming too. Below are some of our most frequently asked questions to help you feel prepared and confident before your bridal appointment at WsM Bridal.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes — WsM Bridal is an appointment-only boutique, allowing us to give every bride a relaxed and personal experience.

What is your price range?

Our bridal gowns typically range from £500–£2000, with most dresses priced between £1000–£1500.

How long do appointments last?

Our standard bridal appointments last 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore styles and try on dresses.

How many guests can I bring?

We recommend bringing a small group of supportive guests whose opinions you trust most, helping keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

When should I start shopping for my dress?

We usually recommend starting your dress search around 12–18 months before your wedding where possible, although we do also offer off-the-peg and shorter lead time options.

Do you stock modest wedding dresses?

Yes — we stock a selection of modest and temple-appropriate gowns alongside a wide range of other bridal styles.

Do you offer plus sizes?

We stock a range of sample sizes and styles to help brides of different shapes and sizes feel comfortable and confident during their appointment.

Are alterations included?

Alterations are not included in the price of the gown, however we are happy to recommend experienced local bridal seamstresses.

Can I take photos during my appointment?

Of course — we love seeing brides capture special moments during their appointment.

What happens if I say yes to my dress?

Once you’ve found your dress, we’ll guide you through the next steps including measurements, ordering and what to expect before your gown arrives.
